I am probably way late into this, but where did you all get the Genie ponies??  They look neat!

I love prototype ponies! (most of the time) And also Alt-Rehairs!
Genie's original concept art had Bougainvillea hair color, like Silver Song & popular with other G3s. I've always loved its sort of burgundy and bold tone, so making a "prototype like" Genie was a natural thing to do. It works well! Its bold enough to go with her symbol, and the iridescent tinsel picks up blues sometimes. (Though the camera seems to think its clear)

Oh wow, I love that hair color!! Gotta say, I love the color we ended up with, but I definitely lean more towards red-purples as a rule...

what site did you order her from? If you pre ordered through the pony business, I think they have been shipped out to their new homes recently. I know the bulk order was received a few days ago ;-)

Yaaaay! My Genie arrived today in the UK, safe and well! 

My 4-year-old little girl grabbed her and started introducing her to the little herd of G1s that I let her play with - I had to explain the Genie was delicate etc but I still let her hold her gently as she said hello to her new friends! It was so cute to watch!

Genie's head rotates smoothly into inquisitive poses, I must get my camera out and set some scenes! 
She sure is a pretty one, I can't bring myself to customise her, so she's staying original!
