Mold Making and Casting Experience?

If you have any experience with this, and if you're looking for some work, I have a project I need some help on!

I already have the figure that I need the mold of, so it's just a matter of having the mold created and casting it in a translucent color. The batch would be about 12 figures total, possibly a few more to determine the right color before proceeding with the final 12.

Oh man! I'm looking into learning to make my own molds/casting in resin, so I'll keep an eye on this thread!

I have also wondered about advice in this area, particularly with ponies. I went to a seminar once on resin casting, but they only demonstrated one part molds.

Ooh!! I've been asking around, do you have a preferred type of resin you like to use, Tiella? ^_^ I just love your translucent ponies!!
