Some of the replies are really awesome.

I would probably scream and call my husband, because I would be terrified to have really lost it this time. If he sees them too and it's all real, I would love it! Though there will need to be some boundaries, especially for the baby ponies. I can't handle children very well, let alone a hundred of them...

im enjoying this thread, iv been reading the comments out to my husband. he said he would separate the boys from the girls...i have too many ponies as it is. 

i must add, no more scattering them on the floor and making pony angels

to be honest at the very first moment I think I will be very very surprised!! but soon after I will be too excited to talk with them!!
When I was a kid I kept looking at Tickle for some minutes and always dreamed that she will move her eyes or one of her leg  so yes I will definitively be too happy if they would be alive

PANIC. I've beheaded some of them for cleaning, and left 2 others with tail rust I was too lazy to fix. Also, think of all the twins and seperated from their siblings and family babies seperated from their parents - what if they constantly requested you reunite them? That would be heartbreaking... And how would I take care of them all? Think of all the food! And the waste!

...other than that, I'd probably just tell them to stay perfectly still as to not mess up the hair I painstakingly styled for them, haha.

Probably run away from shock after that maybe try to get used to it. I have alot of ponies to free from rubber-made bins. The ones in the bait piles would kill me id have zombie ponies coming after me from the grave... not good. Also the ones filled with rust/pony age spots... would they carry diseases to the others? ugh my doctor bill!

I'm not sure if this ruins the awesomeness of this thread, but I have a friend who talks to spirits, for lack of a better description. A little like John Edwards. When she was still learning, I asked her to read one of my ponies, Lil' Tot. I wanted to know if she was given to a sick child or bought as part of the charity, though I'm not sure this was actually how she was distributed. That was the rumor at the time, at least.
When she read the pony, she only felt happiness. She said Lil' Tot was happy that someone cared about her, and that she wasn't alone or in the trash. So in a way, I think all my ponies are sort of alive.
I've considered having her read other ponies now that she is better at it/more practiced, but I feel like I know what I need to know. I'm mostly just curious how my friend's "powers" have evolved.

Now, if they started moving and messing with me, we'd have to have words. I picture them peeking behind corners and then standing still, like they had never moved at all.

well, it depends. would it be exactly like toy story where they're toys with sentience that know they're toys, or would they literally turn into (very) small horses?

i loooooooved toy story (still do) so i think the first scenario would be cool~ i'd ask the ones i bought off ebay where they'd been!

(edit: haha, Bladed beat me to it! My reaction would be much the same. Living toys would be one thing.. living tiny horses.. no way. )

I think Baby Tiddlely Winks and the other baby ponies would cry because I don't have the Lullabye Nursery anymore. I would try to explain to them that it was broken but I'm sure they wouldn't listen and they complain that they don't have enough toys because I don't have many baby accessories.
