What pony flaw do you dislike the most? Vote and discuss!

Considering I am such a fussy collector, the thing I struggle most with is hair cuts...no idea why it just really annoys me. Perhaps its because I have been caught out a lot over the years as often its something easily over looked if a small trim or on some ponies which have surprisingly long hair.

Cancer marks/vinyl breakdown however are the absolute worst as they are the thing you cannot fix - the thing you are stuck with and the thing which does seem to ruin most ponies. However, I also have come to understand that it (and what we call regrind) are things which are just going to happen with time. Very few of the ponies which commonly suffer it are going to escape it forever. So I feel that these things will come with time but hair cuts can always be avoided.

Head/body mismatch 100% it makes me crazy.

Haircuts and missing parts bother me too, everything else I can live with mostly.

Chew marks! They're the hardest to disguise or repair.

Plasticizer leaking: because it can ruin otherwise perfectly fine paint.

Brown head/body: The only deterioration that really bothers me for it's own sake. I just don't like how it looks, though I'm a moderate amount of head-body mismatch.

Haircuts: I don't always mind them, some look OK or can be styled to make it look OK, and I'll collect ponies no matter the condition, but partial cuts frustrate me because I don't want to rip out the otherwise good hair to do an alternate rehair, but just rehairing partially is usually too much effort to me. Plus, I hate when it's something like half the length of a portion is cut...that half is still good! I don't want to have to get rid of that.

Also, missing limbs/horn...I don't mind missing flutter/winger wings so much, but when pieces of the plastic are cut off, it bother me.

All that said, all the other flaws listed don't really bother me much, and I still collect all of the above...hardly any flaw is a complete turn off for me.

Oh man, this was tough! I picked cancer spots, mold, and head/body mismatch. It just ... URGH I hate that feeling when you look at a pony, and it looks like she was Frankensteined together!!

For me its 'cancer', regrind, and browning of body parts.  Everything else is able to be repaired in my book (haircuts, rubs, missing wings, etc), or is simply character (chews, and pen marks).  Those are deep flaws of the vinyl, and make things look kindof gross to me.  I don't mind ANYTHING if it's minor, but those big ones if they're really noticeable just stand out the worst to me.

I'm not a picky collector at all.  And for G1 these are 30 year old toys, things that show they were a beloved toy always give me a little smile at least.

I don't mind the age-related flaws, because there's nothing you can do about that. They're 30-year-old plastic toys—it's going to happen. The damage caused by children, on the other hand, drives me up the wall. Always has.

Growing up, I loved going around to yard sales with my mom and picking up pre-loved ponies, but I would fly into a fit of rage whenever I saw that some brat had drawn on their ponies, or given them haircuts, or—shudder—CHEWED on them. I always took such good care of my ponies and it infuriated me that not everyone else did. You have to respect the pony!

I voted for haircuts, but it only bothers me when the first few plugs of hair are buzzed. I actually don't mind when the tails and manes are bobbed- I think it's kinda cute!

I personally dislike plastic regrind and leaking plasticizer since the latter makes a pony 'sticky' and is hard to clean!

I don't mind 'cancer' except the name...

I picked other, I can live with pony cancer, I can live with factory regrind.... the thing I can't stand are the 30 yr old nail polish stains I have been battling with. Poor Mimic, Tickle and not so soft Lickety-Split have been sitting in a very sunny window with minimal improvement. I'm going to sit them there for a while longer and pray to the pony gods that they fade to non existence.
