*PICS ADDED* Adorable Rainbow Dash Error Plush!

Has anyone else ever had a pony plush with a factory default? I recently ordered a Rainbow Dash plush by Famosa I think... When she arrived, one of her ears has been sewn on upside down. I was upset with it when I first saw it, but actually... it makes her look REALLY cute that side... like she has feelings. Happy one side, sad the other... lol!

Do you think she might be worth more than I paid though? Like would she hold her value as a factory error plush? I just wondered how common this kind of mistake was...

I have seen a few posts about plush errors - from missing symbols to the wrong tush tags.

Personally, I dont think they are worth any more. The price point and nature of the item means most people will be looking for them as perfect as possible rather than with mistakes. However, it is probably a little subjective and may indeed get some people who will pay you a little more for her in this condition - although if its an error that could easily be reproduced with a sewing machine then that may not be the case.

I would say in general terms (as opposed to MLP related) that factory errors are usually worth a little bit more. Sometimes, as in the case of comic books, coins, baseball cards, etc, an error/misprint will make it 2x its value/cover cost. So, like with baseball cards, it might be worth $6 instead of $3 or a comic book might be worth $7 instead of $4... stuff kinda like that. But it is largely subjective also. Some people place more value on a misprint/factory error than others. Some people will say it has no value because it is an error.

Personally, I think your plush sounds pretty cool!

I agree that value would be rather subjective, especially with something like this where the error could be fairly easily replicated if someone wanted to. To some, it might be worth more because it gives her personality, but to others it might be worth less because it's a "defect".

Sometimes these little errors can make a pony (or plush) a little bit higher in value, but that's mostly because people like a little odd thing and will pay more. I'd love this one more over a "normal" one

She is very cute! I have to agree with everyone else though, but it seems to me that collectors/fandoms tend to focus on a particular factory error, not just random ones. Unless the one ear down thing with this specific plush becomes a meme or something she's probably not worth that much more than any other RD from Famosa.
