ok, so there's only 2 people left to get their refunds as far as we know, and 1 who is waiting for the chargeback to fail . Hopefully they will all be sorted soon and come back and update us with a positive outcome

so it looks like everyones or mostly everyone has the refund but if she does t have a consequence she would till get away with it. in a sense yes tye money was returned but likely she wont ever use that paypal again unless she's an idot. what if she comes back as a diferent user and try this again? this is just a little unsettlingbecaus it obviusly shows tuat pictures are not proof enough anymore.  or am I just being overly essimestic about this? thus whole communty is built on trust. and now that truat is shaky at best for those newer people comung in that want to sell and trade. because of things like this.  but there are also a lot of good kind and honest people pit there as well is there anything that can be done to make sre she can't just make anotjer id? because scammers usually come ba k or try more tjen onceor am I tje only one that is concerned. about this. I know thisthread is almost ready to close but I just thought id ask this real quick.

But I mean, gods amighty!! Who does these things?! And she just keeps going and going, like some slimy, corrupt energizer bunny!! Praises be that I'm too set on needing to brushy-brush my ponies or I could have been another victim! Glad her mini criminal enterprise is getting shut down left and right though, show her a thing or two. When she has bounty hunters and debt collectors hounding at her door she'll regret pulling what she did, and how!

Unfortunately as far as I could glean the sole non-bold chargeback was successful. The other two non-bold transactions don't have updates.

WOW! This makes me angry to read about all of this stuff that is going on. Why does there seem to be so many more scammer out there!? But on a good note I am happy that your all getting your money back .

Lorelei, I think she did try to get back on, but the mods have her IP address now, so she's unable to. I doubt she'll be back again. As for other scammers, there's always going to be the possibility of it happening...that's why people pay through PayPal and send it as a purchase so it can be disputed later on should it come to that. When it comes to trades, it's honor driven, but the mods also hear about that, so should someone try to pull something they can be booted.
These are the things that keep me here at the Arena...knowing that reputations are earned over a period of time, that sometimes what's needed is some faith in the fact that the vast majority of people are honest and awesome, and that the few bad apples that do get in will be snuffed out very quickly. I mean, look how quickly this person was red flagged and exposed! It's because of the close community here and the depth of caring by the mods and other members. My faith in this place hasn't been shaken at all because of all these reasons and more.
If you're really concerned, then just deal with people with whom you've dealt in the past, or trade/buy/sell only to long established people who have lots of feedback or have been on here for years (though may buy and sell very little). I really hope this doesn't happen again, I know next time I'll ask for a few more pictures and talk to the person for a little longer next time (and perhaps follow the old adage "if it seems too good to be true, it usually is!"
