VERSIONS?

As far as i know if got blossom & cotton candy 1982 CF 2 stamped Italy dwarf versions, and Butterscotsh & Snuzzle 1982 CF 4 stamped Normal version.
But looking at all different stories and pics on Italy collector ponies...i'm getting a bit confused.....can anybody tell which versons i have?

pic 1 to 3 , snuzzle and cotton candy
pic 4 to 5, cotton candy and blossom

Do you mean which type of mold is each pony? The 4 different collectors pose molds (regular, hunchback, dwarf, & Macau-like) can be very tough to identify. Good job taking side by side pictures, that makes it a little easier. :bigups: When I sorted my Italians, I compared every collectors pose side by side to determine who was what mold. I have my collection shown in the link in my signature with notes on each pic, if you'd like to see. ;)

My best guess here is:
Cotton Candy - regular
Snuzzle - hunchback
Blossom - regular
Butterscotch - hunchback

Edit to add:
...actually the more I look, the less sure I am about that! Can you take a picture from above if their backs? Hunchbacks have a much slimmer body & all other mold types have a rounder body.

Yup, this one is indeed faded....but i actually like this color to be honest;) it's a bit like peachy.

To make the confusion a bit bigger:P
Check out the height difference in blossom and cotton candy, they are both Italy CF 1982 2 stamped with pad pent, both there heads lowerd.
But as you can see, cotton candy is a LITTLE  bit bigger....

So.....cotton candy : regular?
Blossom: dwarf?

Well there's no hope for the rest of us then :silly: hehe, JK ;)

I can't tell either and think I've given up trying to distinguish the different Italians with the exception of AB eyes vs stamped eyes.

Hunchbacks dont have a pat pend stamp only the regular release ponies do. I was thinking Snuzzle and Butterscotch look like the regular releases. Cotton Candy hunchback and Blossom as dwarf. But as mentioned its super hard to tell for 100% certain from pictures.

Cotton candy also has pat pend, she is stamped the same way as blossom, only there is al little height difference, cotton candy is just a little bit bigger, when i messure them between the rear legs, blossom is 3,9cm, cotton candy 4cm, when i do the same with front legs they both measure 3,5 cm.
But when you see them side to side like in one of the pics, cotton candy's back is higher than Blossom's...

And thats why you dont look at pictures on a mobile phone where you cant make everything out :P I still think Cotton Candy does look to have hunchback traits - the wide spread legs and the fact she is slightly higher at the back. The pat pend is a bit odd as is the fact she is taller than Blossom. But with the Italians and others have said there is a lot of wiggle room in their traits. Its hard therefore to come down on one side or the other.

I always think if you line them up - from the front height wise it should be hunchback then dwarf then regular and then macau like but again I have seen some dwarf ponies shorter in height than hunchbacks.

What about AB eyes vs stamped eyes - which versions (Hunch, Dwarf, Regular, Macau-like) have AB and stamped variations *mind is boggled*

Looking on My Little Wiki it appears that some of the non-Macau-like have AB eyes too? It's all very confusing.
