We're getting really close to the list being complete now guys! I thought I'd try a different approach to getting the rest of the info confirmed

I'll break it down into smaller chunks, ask for confirmation per set

So...... can anyone confirm the last few Newborn Twins listed below??

Of course there are still others, they're hidden in the spoilers, please do feel free to confirm any of those too

Hi Ponies!

Since being heavily involved with this thread and learning from the very knowledge PKW here about the granting of the patent and moving factories from Hong Kong to China which affected hoof markings of ponies from 1987/88 I am compiling a list of ponies with patent pending stamps vs ones without.

In a nutshell, many ponies from that time period were produced while the patent was pending and they were still being produced afterwards so there are sets with both hoof markings. Same principle with Hong Kong vs China.

So my aim is to compile a list of all the variations as a collecting tool that I will share with everyone. I have a list of all the (known) releases so far and adding these in will complete it as far as it can be complete when new Nirvanas are still being discovered.

But I need your help!!

Below is a list of all the sets that are affected by these differences and I have marked on it the ones I have in my own collection as confirmed, so we know they exist. What I need from you guys is to confirm the rest Please check your ponies and reply to this thread with the ones that don't have confirmation yet. Just a simple "I have Tex made in Hong Kong with a pat pend mark" is all I need for the ones without confirmation, or of course if you know for definite without a doubt that they exist (or don't exist for that matter) but you don't have them

If I can get this list as complete and accurate as possible it will be a great tool for collectors of G1 ponies for the whole community to use Huge thanks in advance to anyone who participates and helps!

I was literally just going to post a response to you himmie lol. I figured if you had an army and had never come across the other Loving Family options I posted that they probably don't exist? Would you say that's likely to be the case?

I do have a lot of them. I look at just about every listing for them, as well. The parents definitely have four versions: HKPP (my childhood ponies), CPP (mostly acquired from the UK), CNPP (mostly acquired from Germany) & NCNPP

Baby Brother Sweet Celebrations I have three versions of: HKPP, CPP, CNPP.
Baby Sister Bright Bouquet and Apple Delight: HKPP and CNPP. I have not found any that are CPP but do not know for certain.

Baby Brother Bright Bouquet and Apple Delight: CPP and CNPP. Never seen a HK one.
Baby Sister Sweet Celebrations, I have CNPP. She is the last one that I got so I have not inquired about as many. However, I have not personally seen a CPP one.

Hopefully that helps and makes sense.
