Wisconsin Pony Meet Thread! June 1st!!

Thank you for pointing me this way Glacia   I don't work weekends, but my husband almost always does during the summer.  I'd love to attend, it would be my first pony meet.

May I ask about kids?  If I can't find a day sitter I may be stuck because of the hubby's crazy summer schedule.

Any thoughts on a 'start time' by the way? I'm fine with any time after 10am And how about any other games/activities?

@mermaid_splash- I'm not sure if anyone else is bringing kids, but if you can't find a sitter I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem

It's my daughter's dance recital that whole weekend, so I won't be there.  Have fun everyone!!  It looks like MN meet is going to be in August, so maybe we'll see some of you there!

Oooh, customs I have a wide pool of custom ideas in mind actually, what baits do you have? I'd be primarily interested in babies and Posey-pose ones.

Any thoughts on an official 'start time' by the way?

ETA: I threw together a rough signature, but if anyone can make a better one please let me know I have no photoshop skills and my abilities with Paint are limited

As far as start time, definitely after 10 AM. It's a bit of drive for me and I am not a morning person.

June first is fast approaching! I'm trying to get 200 acres planted still and finishing up my last semester of college it's been a hectic month so far! By the end of May I'll be scrambling to get my trade box ready for the meetup!

I think a 10 am start is good- that gives people time to get there late, (which we will) and get the food set up. I found an awesome dip recipe, and it needs crock pot time- so reserve a plug-in for me.

Are we still doing the White Elephant Swap?

And I'm totally up for dragging Rapunzel & Mimic halfway across the state!

I'll also bring the game I brought to last year's MN meet, it's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I'll see if I can come up with a couple more games. Is there a prize table? Or should I have specific prizes in mind for each of the games?
My in-laws are planning a yard sale for that weekend, but if I can't make it they'll understand. It might mean I have to sacrifice the next weekend to them, but that's ok- it's a good sacrifice for ponies!

I have no problem if people get there later Just as long as we know who all is coming so that everyone who wants to participate in the swap and such can get to do so.

I'd love to try to attend a pony meet someday. I live in Sussex, which isn't too far away from Oregon. It was great to find out that quite a few people in the forum are from Wisconsin. I never knew! I've attended many Wisconsin/Illinois doll meets before-- I think it would be a fun change in toy gears hanging out with pony peeps.
