Did Someone here buy a big lot of MIB G3's in Long Beach CA?

More a curiosity thing. when my co-workers mother passed away a year or two ago she had to part with her pony collection due to money issues. I was curious if someone from the arena got them, since she said it was a collector. She is looking in storage for me since she kept a few and is going to re-home them with me. I would love to find another pony lover near me...im shy and it's hard for me to make new friends.

Dang, that sounds like an awesome lot of ponies! I hope it was a local collector - I wish I'd been close enough to buy some! I almost wonder if one of the local 'pony sellers' got them. I know one of them who is a vintage toy dealer - every pony gets rubbed down with the same grimy cloth, making it even dirtier than before, and then he asks $5-10 for each of them because they've been 'cleaned.' And then he has Zig Zag and Seashell at $20 each, because they're 'rare and expensive!' He usually only buys G1s, though, because they're so special and vintage and money-licious. I mean, vintage.

I hope you can find some local pony buddies!! I know we have some people who are in SoCal, and lots of our newer members seem to be from here, too!

Yeah I hope there is meet near me sometime. I also wonder if it was someone from Frank And Sons, they have a booth there with ponies 3 for $5

It would awesome if there was a pony meet in SoCal (er, more north than San Diego though!). I live in LA County so I am not that close to LBC sadly. Any other LA collectors out there? of course, LA County is pretty damn huge too... Hehe.

I believe a younger collector bought those, MLPStarsongfan? She either was going to buy them or had talked about buying them, I remember her talking about it.
She came to a meet I had back in 2010; her father drove her up; she hasn't been on in quite a while, not at all since the new site.

I go to school in LA! Although I will be graduating soon, and moving back home behind the Orange Curtain... LOL!

I'm actually in Long Beach as well.  I'm very new to collecting since I grew up watching Transformers and TMNT.  But starting with FiM I got opened up to MLP.  And after meeting with a few others here in SoCal I've started adding to my small collection of G1 ponies.
