Kmart has had these for a while now. It comes with copy of a G3.5 dvd for free over there. It appears to be a Kmart exclusive packaged like that.

THat's very odd if Kmart has this- it was street dated for today, not legal to sell. Of course, you CAN break street date, so maybe that's what they did...
After more pondering than it should have taken, I think I figured out why they chose those episodes- they all have the train, right? Except the first ones with Nightmare Moon, which I'm sure they put there as an introduction.
I was going to wait for the whole season, too, but I am not a patient person!

Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!

Walmart puts stuff out early all the time, especially music CDs. I thought it was illegal too but nothing seems to be stopping them, lol.

I had Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album almost a week before the release date from Sams (Which is part of Walmart) and Lady Gaga's Born This Way album was being sold at Walmart days before it was supposed to be released.

Is the original :muffin: Pony in the Last Roundup? Or is it the edited :muffin: Pony?

Original

That ALONE is reason enough to go buy this piddly offering of episodes.... :D

I HATE it when TV shows change and/or censor themselves because of outside pressure... >.<

Reminds me of the last unicorn. 80s vhs had mild swearing, while dvd rerelease has it edited out.

I wasn't going to buy it because I wanted a season box set, but I ended up getting it anyways haha.

Yeah, why is it they don't seem to do that with "kid shows?" I'm still waiting for season box sets of Backyardigans. :P Of course, the kids aren't into 'em as much as they used to be, so it might be moot.
