This is my latest cast porcelain pony. I wasn't going for brown... but glaze is mysterious and she came out speckled brown with pale blue undertones. This new mold kept even the details of her hoof markings which you can see in the last pic.

that is pretty amazing.  I miss working with those mediums from high school.  I love how she turned out, and I hope you find her a nice home :)

I love ceramics! It's one of my favorite college classes I've ever taken. I'm certainly not good at it, I loved the challenge and playing with glazes is just the best! It's so cool that you take the time to cast ponies for fun!

so gorgeous!!! now i wanna do that for my ceramics class im in right now... id totally fail at that though :/  I can do resin molds, but porcelain just doesnt like me

What a great idea!  I really like the glaze - it reminds me of real Appaloosa horses' patterns.

Very cool! I love the blue and brown combo, even if it was accidental. You picked a perfect hair colour for her. I'd love to have a little porcelain pony. ^^ Too bad I don't have any extra $$ to spend right now...
