Save the Ponies!  Use a fakie!  We often hear fakies described as disposable, half pony creatures.  So we know we can make a Hasbro pony beautiful, but the true challenge is to make something unusual, or lets face it, ugly, and turn it into something beautiful!

The contest will run for 6 weeks.  We will have sign ups until February 1st.  So March 15th (ish) will be the end of the contest!

First Prize, an amazing offer from Jupi!  She will create a gorgeous DG fakie baby custom just for you!!!

Contest ends March 15th!!  We need your finished photos at any time before them.  Post them on the thread and drop me a PM when you are done!!
 
Rules:
~Only non Hasbro mold fakies are allowed (no DGs or Crumpets, etc.)
~Feel free to post pics as you go, unlike a swap, there doesn't have to be the surprise factor, let's just have fun!
~Please post at least one WIP pic before March 10th so we will have a good idea of how many people are gonig to finish the contest
~Entries will be voted on by the Mod team, with any participating Mods excluded from the voting.
~There is no set theme.  You can sculpt if you like, just remember the short time frame.
~Tell us about your hard work!  When you submit your final entry pic, tell us what you did!
~No previous feedback or experience needed!  All are welcome to join!

Ohhh, she's just beautiful! I have absolutely NO time for customizing right now, but ... maybe a simple rehair wouldn't be TOO difficult. And I've been meaning to work on one of the many, many frizzy-haired fakies I have! The only problem is... do I have one baity enough to work on?! I'll take a look! This sounds like an awesome contest idea!

Interesting challenge, I have a box of fakies and may have to give this a go! I think one rule you should have though is no getting rid of the glass/plastic eyes like how people often De-beddy bye eye BBE babies.

I'm SO in! I actually just gave away my last "hippo" fakie, but there are usually more at Value Village. I'll have a look today! If I'm going to do this, it's got to be a CP fakie... don't think it could be as pretty as Buttercup, though!

I may do this! I've already done a Totsy Twilight Sparkle, and am planning to have a Totsy Trixie by the Fair
and I have a fakie ready to become a Frankenstein monster
my commissions/trades come first, and I need to see what other fakie baits I have...so I'll keep my eyes on this
