Pony puzzles?
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:26:15 AM »
I haven't had to ask a question like this before, so I'm really sorry if I've posted it in the wrong place!  I've been (very) slowly going through and clearing out some of my extras/duplicates and have found a small pile of pony puzzles that I'd like to get rid of.  Most of them are G1 puzzles, most complete and some incomplete.  My question is whether or not people buy these?  Would it even be worth trying to sell off the incomplete ones, or would it be a waste of time?

I have two actually; both are complete, one has no box but the pieces are pristine.  The other has a box that's been scribbled on with orange marker, and a couple of the pieces have been outlined with orange but it's not really noticeable.

I take it there is still some interest in these then?  And Michelle53 if either description interests you, send me a message and we'll talk. :)

Goldilocks, sorry to say but neither of those is one I have!  Here is a list of the ones I have, at least at the moment:

2x 24 pc. Windy Wing puzzles (complete) -- as described above
24 pc. Momma and Baby Glory (complete)
24 pc. G2 birthday party puzzle (unopened)
24 pc. Peachy and Baby Cuddles (incomplete, missing one piece)
100 pc. Tropical ponies (complete)
24 pc. Squirmy and Tappy in nursery (complete)
100 pc. Dance n' Prance ponies (incomplete, missing one piece)

Like I said, I am trying to sort out a bunch of extras from my collection, and puzzles to me are pretty secondary to getting my extra ponies/extra baits to good homes. :)  Not sure if these are worth the effort to get rid of, basically!   I haven't really been active in the community since about thirteen (!) years ago, so I am really out of the loop!

A lot of people collect puzzles!
I had got a few at thrift shops and sold them here years ago. They definitely sell better if they are complete though ;D

Haha, I can believe that!  I'd probably only buy an incomplete puzzle if I really needed one of those pieces to complete another puzzle, but that's just me!  :)

Both of the Windy Wing puzzles are gone, thanks for the interest though! :)  Also thanks for the price info, that's really helpful!

I agree that there is certainly going to be interest in them but unfortunately they dont tend to sell super high [probably because expensive shipping keeps them low] - $3-4 for those complete is a good price.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
