A Word in Defense of G3.5...

HAIR!!!!

I just got my first one, Cheerilee, my first real (Not McDonalds one) one at thrift, and she has like 1000 hair plugs!!!! Like 5 rows across the back of her head and bangs too!!!  Talk about styling ability!!!  I'm no good at styling but I'm surprised I never knew this!

Yeah, I was surprised too by the amount of hair first time I saw a 3.5 up close! I'm not good at styling either, but it's still pretty cool that they seem to have a lot more possibilities.

Every pony has a redeeming feature! Hasbro certainly weren't having a hair shortage with some of the G3.5 sets.

I don't understand why G3.5s are so hated, they look adorable to me.  They sure need more love. xD Also, you are right! I looked at my G3.5 Starsong and there is so many plugs. ;o (Grabbed her because she's sitting right by my laptop. xD)

Agreed! They might not be my favorite generation but they're not THAT bad. I think they're pretty cute to be honest. Got a bunch of them and they fit nicely along with all the other generations in my herd

My fashion Starsong has SOOOOOOOOOOOO much hair. When I got her from the thrift store, my cousins loved brushing it and playing with it. I LOVE all that hair!

I love them too ! I keep the hair just like each character has in the show (gladly, the internet has lots of reference pictures) and I just love how they all look ! They deserve more love and care, hmpf. *pouts*

I don't understand why G3.5s are so hated, they look adorable to me. 

I don't think all the hate is from their looks, I think its mostly the fact that it was just the same 7 ponies re-released over and over to oblivion.

But yeah, I LOVE all that hair! (they just look like a pain in the butt to re-hair though!)

Very true about the hair. The sheer quantity of hair is really nice to brush. As much as I love regular G4s they don't have enough hair for a satisfying brush!

Not my favorite gen but they do have quite a bit of hair. . .
