Etsy Scammer Alert

Beware of selling MIB or MOC items, G4 in particular, on Etsy to anyone named Jennifer Zammit in Manitoba Canada.

I sold 6 lots of G4 ponies on August 27th. They included:
A MIB Fan Series Queen Chrysalis, MIB Spitfire and Soarin, a MOC Shining All About Armor, a MOC All About Big Macintosh, a blind box Trixie Lulamoon that was loose, a set of Power Ponies that were loose as well. This was around $150 US.

On September 11th I got an ambiguous message from her "This box not in order!" I then asked her which box was not in the order and she then opened a case wanting a refund and showing pictures in a box of various loose G4 ponies that were clearly not what I sent her. I feel like I am being scammed. I have filed a report with the FTC, and as soon as I find my pictures of the box I sent I will be filing an IC3 report as well. I also contacted Etsy directly and am waiting to hear back from them. I've been a member of this community since the late 90's WHY would I choose now to start scamming people? Come on. The jerk added insult to injury by also damaging my feedback. SMH.

I don't know what her feedback is/was. Of course, if she has tried this before or tries again, eventually they will catch on and ban her account I am assuming.

My feedback was pretty close to perfect before that scamming b*tch left me a 1 star rating on the 6 things she's trying to get for free. But even that tells a story - she is literally my only 1 star review in 13 years of doing business.

She is a vile person.

Etsy is such a terrible platform for sellers.  It is so gross that they are tolerating this abuse.

If her account is fairly recent, and yours 10+ years. I'd know who I'd side with. Good luck!

Well apparently her name isn't Jennifer - and she is reselling everything she stole from me on right on Etsy as we speak, well, except one thing that she already sold. I took screenshots of every single relevant thing and reported her to Etsy, not that they will DO anything. I've filed so many complaints, but at least now I have the right name and address.

ugh. i hate how these scammers do this to sellers. i've never sold on Etsy. but the way these platforms automatically take the buyer's side makes it really hard for sellers. i know there are sellers who scam, but Etsy should at least dig a little.  also so bold to turn around and sell on the same platform.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. I've had this experience in the past too, where they tried to scam with photos. It's always going to be a problem, but I think what you did (reports) will help fight the issue. Don't give up!
