I’m so excited to see what you all came up with!! Idk if I already said it, but mine is ready to go. I finished a while ago when I had some time off work. I’m glad it did it then, I really haven’t had time lately!

I sealed the paint yesterday. I should start working on the animal companion, but I have a different custom I'm working on at the same time that needs to be rehaired before scuplting (antlers!) so I spent my time yesterday on that one. But there's only a week to go now so I really should get busy with my challenge pony!

Edit to add // Should've stated this before but I wanted to take this on as a personal challenge so even if I manage to complete in time, as a Mod I won't be participating in the prize draw.

Kids are done this term of school and I don't have any other pressing obligations so I think I'll have time to do this now!  I'm going to try dyeing for the first time for my pony's body since my airbrushing setup is currently unavailable.

Question:  Do insects count for the animal friend?  and can we have more than one?

Yes, insects are fine! And yes you can have more than one though it's not required

About to put on the final coat of sealer. After that, all I've got left to do is add in the sparkles and hair, then make the animal friend.

Maybe adding more pearls to a few more places and making an animal friend.. maybe tomorrow. My pony doesn't have a special name other than what food it is, should it have a proper name?

I need to finish the animal friend (the current state is a roughly-animal-shaped lump of clay, lol) and rehair my pony, then I can call this finished! My idea for the beads luckily worked out, I was able to creat a cute little accessory for the animal friend! I'll see if I can still incorporate more beads in a different form.

I can barely wait to see everyone's creations! I actually love the that you decided against us sharing WIP pics along the way, BC. It will be fun to see if anyone has had similar ideas or if each custom will be totally different!

Ok, thanks for the reply.  I came up with a name for it.

I still need to add the sparkles and hair on my pony. Pony friend is all done. I'm absolutely thrilled to see what everybody came up with.
