How to fix yellowed flocking?
« on: June 13, 2022, 12:53:19 PM »
Hello everyone,

I have a so soft (pegasus) twilight with some slight flocking loss. Most of it's still on but it's mostly yellow. Like very yellow. How can I fix this without deflocking? She's very nice otherwise.

If you know what to do, please share.

Thanks!

Usually it's the glue that's yellow not the flocking. As far as I know, there's no way to lighten the glue.

I think a hydrogen peroxide bath would bleach her hair, but you can try an oxi bath. Usually oxi needs hot water to activate but you could wait until it cools and add it to cool water and soak her. It will make her hair feel funny but a wash and condition will get rid of it. I honestly don't know if this would work though.

Thanks for the advice. Her hair still has original pink in it and she's quite rare so I'd rather not ruin her by accident. I'll be looking for a replacement.
