Cute detail I noticed on G1 backcards!

As I'm not a MOC collector and it's been so many years since I decarded my G1s as a little girl I've never noticed this. They are so cute, I love ducks. 

Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely search every backcard I see online for cute little duckies form now on.

Orange and from the wrong time period, so doubtful. Probably a coincidence or an in joke with the artists but may have been inspired by the pull duck toys some of the ponies came with...

The UK Sparkle card probably has him too then, because it uses the US artwork.

Potentially the WW ponies too, I don't have a WW box though.

I've been trying to think what other ponies come from that time range xD.

I didn’t see a duck on the US Sparkle Babies card but there is a duck on the puzzle featuring them

Ahaha, yes, I think it is, lol, how adorable.  Well spotted, I hadn't even noticed, my eyes were so focussed on finding the duck. 

I absolutely adore all those duckies, they're even cuter than the ponies themselves.

Haha, I didn't catch that the first time, but when I read your comment I went back to that link and had a good laugh! That "catfish" is hilarious! 

Also, I had never noticed the ducks in the artwork before! Guess I just never paid attention! They are all adorable. I jut love MLP artwork!
