One of my friends has a licensed Hello Kitty / Transformers figure.  (Exclusive to Japan I think.)  The wildest part is that Hello Kitty is a Decepticon.

Something just occurred to me. Will DnD, Ghostbusters, Transformers and Power Rangers get their own unique figures too?

A ghostly Transformer
A golden knight Power Ranger
A wizard ghost being sucked into a ghost trap
A TF Megazord

Otherwise this crossover is gonna be awfully one-sided.

Hasbro has been having crossovers with their "boy" lines for a while now. Off the top of my head there's been a Transformer/GI Joe crossover and a Transformer/Ghostbusters crossover as well as lots of Potato Head crossovers.

Yes I know that. But they're making it sound like this whole thing will be one big crossover

I was starting to think this is so heavily MLP as a way to keep the MLP brand  present in the general public’s consciousness while we are in between shows/gens.  Speaking of which, where is Pony Life.  Is that show ever coming out?

That looks so much better!  Why can’t Hasbro manage that?

I guess because they got so used to doing eyeballs that take up 40% of the face, that they forgot what they are really like and where they're supposed to go. Kinda like how they had a temporary brain-fart with the mouths on the Soda Sippins. Maybe they should ask Basic Fun?

I won't repeat my general opinions on these but whoever decided on the boxarts is a genius in my eyes. They look great and better than the figure on the inside. I'd love to know the artist(s).

God I hate it lol.  I understand the body color more now that G3 Applejack was mentioned, but it's still ugly imo.  And the horrible eye placement - is that intentional?

As much as I wanted to like it there's just.. nothing charming or appealing about this pony.  They sure did lose my money.

At this point I am sure it is intentional. We've had one or two dedicated forum members photoshop the Retro ponies from last year to have better eye placement and it made a great difference. It wouldn't be hard to change the print since they have no eye sculpt, but these new Retros have the exact same print placement as the ones from SDCC 2019 and the Retro Mane Six pack.

As much as I wanted to like it there's just.. nothing charming or appealing about this pony.  They sure did lose my money. 

I relooked at the DnD ones, and I'd say it's intentional. I assume all of them have to have the same eye placement, and the molded hair probably dictates where that goes. It's not as jarring if there is a chunk of hair there, or clothing... but its absolutely jarring when there is nothing there and all that blank space.
