What is wrong with these babies?

I’ve been redecorating my room and moving my collection about too. In doing so, I’ve noticed a rather ...strange? trait amongst my first tooth babies. Now, granted, I only own three so maybe I just have bad luck and got a couple of weirdos, but two of my three have rather unappealing hairlines.

So my question here is: is this a common trait of these babies? Did I just end up with two weirdos out of sheer luck? It’s just so weird that their plugs continue down into their faces.
So any insight? Does anyone else have first tooth babies with hair that could double as eyebrows??

We only have North Star and Bouncey, but their plugs are fine. I'm no expert, but my guess is a fac-flaw.

Pfft, they look silly. It was the trend, back then!
I've only got Quackers from that set and she's fine. Maybe there's a whole set with the flaw? Collect Em all!

Ok so they ARE strange. 
I know I don’t have very many, but I could’ve sworn that all the auctions and random pics I’ve seen of others had been “normal.” I just wasn’t sure if it was, like, a pretty common flaw with them or what. I like that they’re kinda strange and I’m pretty tempted to do as tealeaf said and try to get the whole set with this flaw. 
Anyone else wanna chime in?

Oh, I tend to get a lot of these "weirdos", even tho mine are not babies. Wish I could show pictures, sadly my ponies are stored for now. I think I have Windy with these kind of plugs, I remember hers going right to her nose! Apparently the kid who owned her before me didn't like that and she got a haircut.

Hmm I don't know! The ponies must have gotten out of alignment so the hair was plugged farther forward? That would be my guess. Hair on ponies can be weird. In my collection, I have small gaps between plugs, single plugs with two colors of hair in them, missing plugs, and probably even more weird things. Maybe babies are more common with this issue? It does look cool, and I too think you should try to get a whole set like this

Bouncy's is quite hilarious. I feel like she needs a comb-over.

I had a look at photos of mine (since they're not here with me) and I can't really see any major issues. It's hard to tell mind you with Tictactoe...

Yep they have extra long bangs/fringe!  I agree, factory flaw!  Oops.  Kind of cute actually...

Since they're lookin up, they might have the same number of plugs as a pony of the same size lookin forward, and they didn't reduce the number of plugs.

Ah, thanks for the pics. I love photos of ponies!! And thanks for helping me figure this out. I’m kinda happy I was lucky enough to end up with these oddballs. It was truly meant to be since they came to me from different people at different times. Can’t wait to see if I can manage to get them all with this flaw!
