Gaging interest in A Texas meet!

I've been thinking about hosting a meet for a while now.  I live in Waco and feel like it would be an easy day trip for all the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin people.

 I've even priced various venues only to find that they are all out of my budget.  So I've been thinking of possibly meeting at a public park.  There are some good places that are reasonably shaded and close to the various activities that Waco has to offer.  I could get there early to reserve some tables.  Or if we had enough people willing to donate, I could look into reserving a pavilion ($200 for the day) which is the cheapest venue option available.

This would be an extremely informal type of meet geared for collectors of all generations.  Please take a look at the poll and choose all that apply.  Let me know what you think in the comments!

I would be interested in attending, I could only go on a weekend though because of my husbands job and a Saturday would work better then a Sunday but we could pull off a Sunday as long as the meetup didn't start to late in the afternoon. I would prefer the meetup in the spring or fall if its outside but would still brave the heat if it had to be in the summer...
