I got my new Diamond Painting kits yesterday and today I opened them up, and started on one of them. Just in time as I finnished off the christmas cards on Tuesday. The one I started with is a picture of moms cat who passed away a while ago. I'm thinking of giving it to mom for christmas.

Another day another smile. Came into my workplace after the morning round and my manager had lit candles and placed a bowl of sweets on the table in the lunch room. Also, I got two movie ticket vouchers from her. They're handing them out to every worker as a thanks for good job this summer.

Unprompted, hubs unclogged the shower drain (that I had been struggling with for over a week trying to get my hair out of there), and he cleaned it too! It was nice not to have to stand in water. I wish I could stop shedding so much!

My makeup came out perfect today! Rusty autumn colored goodness.

And it’s Talk Like a Pirate Day, so my coworkers gave me a couple chuckles so far. Arrrr!

I’ve finished reading my 50th book this year!

At the beginning of the year I wanted to read two a month, so I’ve more than doubled my original goal.


Basically, I replaced scrolling social media (TikTok, YouTube, IG) before bed with reading. Added bonus: it puts me to sleep easier.

I watched these little feral kittens playing in and around bushes this morning. Man, they’re sooo cute!

I was out walking with Ninja (one of my cats) when the sun was out and he layed down on the grass and rolled around and looked like he really enojyed life. And then he got up to me and wanted to cuddle so I sat on the grass and cuddled with my baby until he felt done. He's not the one to seek cuddles so I got really happy.

I think there's a wild partridge on the neighbour's garage roof.
We saw it out the front yesterday. They sometimes stray in from the woodland, or the game reserve but I've not seen one on the roof before...

Hope it stays here. Then maybe it won't get shot by stupid idiots and their rural hunting guns.

They moved the day I get my EBT. It was the 21st for years. Now I'm never sure what day it is. Turns out it's today!

Because those antibiotics killed off my good bacteria I've been eating simple things. I ran out of yogurt a couple days ago and since my stomach has been a little touchy. So now I can get good yogurt and bananas
