Nice barrettes I found these locally at walmart.

I found some others at the dollar store once they were goody and they had I love you barrettes. I never found them over there again

Those are nice too! Seems like there's still some G1-like stuff out there. Too bad about the I Love You barrettes though!

Here is some pictures of my kids barrettes I think they are neat that they made a come back. I like how they stay in your hair those clips may bug her but they stay usually in hair until they take them out.

I've seen a lot of good cool items at Claire's, but my favorite thing that they have is the cat-ear headband

SkyCakes, I actually wore plastic barrettes like that in kindergarten! The poodle and bunny ones specifically. They could grow uncomfortable, but they also hardly ever popped out.

I had these barrettes as a kid too, I'm glad to see them back again!  I wondered since back then if the MLP ones are truly MLP or if they just bought the right to use some Goody/other brand ones as I also had different colors of the same barrettes as a child.

thanks for the comments. I wouldnt know I don't think I have g1 mlp barrettes. :/ I think there needs to be more experts on this subject.

I have those, too!  Got them at Target specifically because they looked so much like 80s pony barrettes.

I'm interested in the size too. Almost all "human" barrettes of this type are much bigger than pony barrettes, typically 5-7 cms (2-3 inches), so I guess these are too?
The ones from Claire's look promising though, I think they might be smaller? And the bottom white flower ones look very much like mlp barrettes.
