I hesitate to speak out too much about the g3 babies or the baby ponies with the diapers painted on because if I look too close I might start to like them....

That potato head Rarity is definitely bad, just bad....at least, it's quadrupedal though not "anthro".  If its hair comes off like is standard with potato heads, there is hope for her though.

Has that awful lopsided solid hair too...the last thing I can't stand about the EQ girl minis...love the little bodies especially with the rubber perky skirts, don't like the fat heads and that lopsided Rarity hair is just,  No.

It's hard to see, but the second to the last panel says "He's Satin 'n Lace's little stallion cousin and he's going to be the ring bearer."  I have no ideas how ponies managed to have cousins before they had boy ponies, lol.

sent Baby Lucky off to boarding school (for naughty baby ponies who bring to life newborn twin ponies from drawings and then leave the grown ups to raise them) and swept Satin and Lace off into the sunset.

I like this a lot, lol!  You do have to wonder what a parent's reaction would be to finding out their son had just created life.  By drawing baby ponies and then magicking them to life.

Oh man, the Newborn Cuties, I can't stand those.  I don't even like normal baby doll toys, but when you combine baby doll proportions with a pony, it's really unsettling.  (Also they don't even have enough hair for the "hair play" aspect.)

Ah, see, I didn't know that. No Satin and Lace in UK lore. Baby Lucky seemed to be a ward of court, so I can only imagine given his other exploits that he somehow blew up his parents and was thus in Majesty's custody to prevent him destroying the world.

I like this a lot, lol!  You do have to wonder what a parent's reaction would be to finding out their son had just created life.  By drawing baby ponies and then magicking them to life.

I can imagine the parent-teacher conference.

"Well, what do you have to say about your son randomly increasing the kindergarten population without permission? We're running out of rattles!"

"...He believes in life imitating art...?"

I have always been annoyed by that particular mold too. I think they are pretty cute when they are sitting but the crawling ones just don't look right.

I remember seeing one in a store and thinking, "the first thing the kid is going to do is lose all of those damn beads and then there's going to be a bald pony laying around the house". Also, the finished look is....not appealing to me. It reminds me of those busy toys that were in every dentist's office in the 1990s. You know, this thing...

The busy beads thingy with the wires is a timeless classic.  Unless I have rewritten my memory which might be the case, i think we had those in the 70s.
