This year has been great for ponies for me. It even still seems ongoing! I got blind bags on Thursday and out of the four that I picked up, I got the three that I really wanted. I got Pursey Pink at a reduced price and a few weeks back, I grabbed a few pearlised ponies priced to clear. My secret Santa gift will be a pony and best of all, I was buying ponies from someone over on the Trading Post and she sent me an extra pony because she knew I'd been having a rough time lately. It was a super kind thing to do and I was incredibly touched.

2016 has been a terrible year but the ponies and books I've hauled during it has been fantastic.

My pony luck has been great the last 2 years. I've been finding lots of G1s second hand ( the best one far and away being a mint Diamond Dreams). I think it makes up for the 90s/ early 2000s when there was nothing around here at all.

I found 0 G1s in the wild this year and a few last year, so my luck hasn't been great when it comes to personally finding ponies. My sister finds TONS though and has given me the majority of my collection so my luck there is amazing.

I go to a special place to find G1 ponies. I always find them every year so Im thrilled. I dont normally hunt for G3-ect. Sometimes I find G4 items locally. Lately I just been into the G1s. I know its a hard time finding G1s sometimes so I am very lucky that I can find them at all.

It's been very dry lately. I did get a Powder last month at a thrift shop... I've bought a few ponies online over the last year, but I'm at the point that I get about 1 pony a month. (OK, honestly, custom sales have been slow, thus hindering any extra pony purchases).

Couple of years ago I was finding g1 ponies regularly at thrift stores. And I was picking up g3s by the bagful and the occasional G4. This year I haven't found any g1 or g2 and only a handful other generations. Someone's getting to them before me or it's really dried up.

I found a great haul in September this year, but before that, 2016 had been a very unlucky year in my area regarding ponies. I guess most of the time they end up on ebay and not on flea markets anymore. At least around here...

Well I recently stumbled upon Twilight Twinkle on a market stall in Stockport; there were loads of G3s but I figured it best for my shelves if I just got one, and she was the one who was most appealing to my taste (lovely pose and colour scheme!) Just last week I also encountered a whole load of pony stuff in a charity shop, mainly a mix of G3 and G4 along with some fakies; there was a G3 Pinkie Pie bubble bath bottle but ugh, the condition. Pretty she may have been but I hadn't the patience to do that amount of work on a pony - hopefully she found a home with someone more motivated!
Nothing on the G1 front though - pony luck of that magnitude is very rare down my neck of the woods but I live in hope!

Bad. This was the first year ever that there were no ponies at all at the kingsdag fleamarkets. Of course I had to make up for it (every year I actually EXPECT to bring home a bag of ponies, simply because it has always been the case), so bought four ponies online on the same day.

I found a place that has anything but G4, lol? It's mostly G3, but a toy shop has had a handful of G1s among them.. which I bought half of (they had four G1s, I have two of them lol).

..I amend this to be a good thing. I found a Baby Sparkle Gusty at the same shop, haha. The other two G1s are still there I just don't know if I wanna pull the trigger because of their issues xD

Lately all I've found in the wild are G2 McDonalds ponies.    on average though I guess I find G3 the most.

Mine are pretty good!! Wave 3 glitter G4 brushables in my area!

I think 2016 was a pretty lucky year for me as far as toys! My IG is proof enough!

I've only found G1s with G3s and G2s sometimes. Though for my dissapointment the G3s are always plushes or styling size...

We didn't have g1 or g2 in Russia, so no wonder I've never seen them in the wild. And it's really weird I found some on Russian sites for selling old stuff (one of them called Avito).
My pony luck is great. I found g3 Rainbow Dash, g4 Sunny Rays, Cherry Berry, Cupcake, three Skywishes and a talking Pinkie Pie. Also soft princess Skyla for 7$.
