What is Let's Make a Pony?

The basic point of the game is to create a pony as a community through a series of polls. These polls will ask basic questions to determine our ponies physical appearance, most popular choice when the poll is closed wins that round. Since this is supposed to be a fun community game, please feel free to share your opinions and comments in this thread.

Let's see how wild our pony will be!

What's the Purpose?
No real final goal but to have fun and see what we come up with together. I will be drawing it as we go along so we will have a visual representation. If anyone wants to join along with art, a custom, or anything else creative, feel free!

About voting.
For this round, there are two votes again. I didn't want to make a whole poll regarding the mane and tail, so there are two separate votes going on. Please designate one vote towards the number of colours you want, and the second to decide if the mane and tail will be the same colours or different colours (for example, G4 Rainbow Dash), assuming we don't end up with a single coloured mane.

For today's poll...
We got the body colour out of the way, and now it's time for some fantasy, candy coloured manes. But before we get to picking colours, we have to figure out how many we need, and how we're handling the mane and tail. Four days for this one. Poll will last until Oct 16th.

*Note 1: If you want multiple shades of one colour (example, say pastel pink and magenta), you would still vote for two or more colours. Voting for one colour means it will be a SOLID haired pony.
*Note 2: rainbow will automatically default to red/pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet as the colours.

Unicorn streak wins it! So we will have two colours total for the mane. Though, do we want to feature a gradient in the mane. One day to vote and the poll will close Oct 17th!

Just one solid hair colour with a single stripe for our little pony!

I voted for the G1 unicorn streak. I feel that with a pony who already has twinkle eyes, a TAF symbol, and pearly body, too many colours might be too much.

I say go with the classic four colors of the twinkle eyed ponies. It's as much a trait of the line as the gems eyes.

I always loved that there are certain 'rules' to how a G1 pony looks, i.e. the early unicorns always had a stripe of color in their mane, and the TE always had four colors, etc. Just the OCD person in me, lol. I voted for four colors!

Looks like there is a divide between four colours to rep twinkle eyes, and the unicorn streak to rep unicorns so far. Haha. I won't keep it a secret I want less to make picking the hair colours a much simpler process, but I'm curious to see where this goes.

Exactly my thought- i love a four-color mane, but with the busy body & eyes it's just a tad too much. I voted 2 color.

I too, went with the G1 Unicorn streak style.

She is a unicorn, after all, and I feel a streak wouldn't be too much.
