This is wishful thinking, but I'm hoping they make a G3 Pinkie Pie as well, but I'd love to get both of them.  I already have a G4 Pinkie Pie, but G3 Minty and G3 Pinkie should be together in my opinion.

Even the brony side of the fandom is looking forward to sock pony (I think she's the reason you see art of the G4 characters in socks), and maybe the chance she will be in S7 or the movie.

If they actually give her socks for her outfit, she's going to sell out within minutes.

I'm really surprised; I'm glad that they're making more build a bear ponies, especially since it seemed they would just be re-releasing old ones, but I wouldn't have expected that she would be released before Starlight Glimmer. I'll probably get her, but I'm still surprised the next build a bear pony is a character that hasn't been in the show yet
