Contest is going a bit slowly so I might adjust round 3.

Round 2 is going well. There is still time:)

Well lost my tracking with buying extra junk food. I had forget my lunch and had a huge head ack(been about three days) and instead of healthy I went no so good. Yes I ate, and that is very important...I just could have made a better choice.

Getting quiet again. Anyone doing fun swaps?

I audition to sing the National Anthem USA at a hockey game. It went well...I hope. I want to do it so bad. Life long dream right there....fingers crossed.

I've been meaning to reply for a while and just didn't have time to get to it due to contest and due to nearly every single one of my animals deciding it was a good time to have an injury/infection/malady etc. I don't know why this is all happening at once but it's stressing me out like crazy. Some of it's little stuff like some shallow cuts due to getting into a fight with the other dogs (which we have no idea why it happened) or like the cut on our other dog's eye that isn't a new thing, but we've spent all fall working with the vet trying to fix. The new fun stuff is like one of our former feral (he still doesn't liked to be picked up but will be petted) has an ulcer in his moth, I thought it was a tooth infection, brought him to the vet. My vet is a way taking some continuing education classes, some substitute vet was there. First she chews me out cause we're a little over due on the indoor cats' rabies shots. (They are INDOOR cats, not highest priority when we're still paying of $3k in vet bills from the summer/fall and our dogs do have current shots). And then she gets all pissy at me because I didn't know the cat had an ear infection and a rash on his body. As if I could see the rash under all of his fur, it wasn't like he was missing fur or his body was felt hot, and his ears are dark brown/black, not that he would let me look in them anyways. how was i supposed to know? I spent a good portion of the day crying on Tuesday because of all that and probably because I hadn't slept for 48 hours due to the contest. And yesterday I tried to cancel my wedding anniversary so we could starting saving up for the rabies shots (my husband refuses to return my anniversary present). I'll figure somewhere to cut corners and get it all done, state law and all that junk.

I posted in the custom forum, but just in case you don't feel like looking there I'll post a pic here too. HE was really hard to finish, every time I started working on a section of him, I kept running into problems. I'm really happy how he turned out. This is even though I never received my hair I ordered. FedEx is claiming it was delivered but someone must have stolen it off my porch which is weird since I was home all day that day and FedEx never showed up.

Right now I'm starting a holiday custom swap. It's taken me a little while to figure out what I want to do for a design, but I think I got it now. Hopefully my hair will arrive on time this time when I order it.

@Pokeyonekenobie - You are on it! I never get Christmas presents for people. Honestly it's a lack of money, but even if I had the money I doubt I would be shopping so far in advance. Good for you :)

@Tak - Welcome back! I'm glad you got things resolved. And great job on keeping up on things while you were away. I gotta try to be more liek you with that :)

@CG - Your contest is looking really fun, I can't wait to see who the winners are. I really hope you're audition went well. I used to love to sing, but it kinda got beaten out of me with too many failed auditions.  You were doing so well with the no junk food thing, I was getting jealous! But it's okay, I'm sure you'll get right back on track with that. It's only one day, as long as it spirals into more days I think you'll be fine.

Me on the other hand, I need to kick myself in the butt and get to walking. My husband bought nearly a dozen bags of candy for Halloween even though we only had 4 trick-or-treaters last year and he left it in a giant bowl next to my livingroom chair. I would like to say I had an amazing amount of will power, but I did not. I failed so horribly. >_<

Retrogradenova that custom is amazing. I know it's not the original hair...but what you used made him look really majestic. Hugs. I know we have to wait on the holiday swap.....but I can not wait to see it. I might be looking into asking you to do a custome for me....have to think out all the details. Love the sparkle body. I feel you on no will power on candy. It's been daily since Halloween that I have two to three pieces of candy. I love sweets and candy sooo much. Sorry an out of the pets. I feel doctors and vets need to learn people skills. We had a vet yell at us as our cat went into  diabetic shock. My husband still feels like he killed his best friend. Pets need to be loved and cared for as best we can. Hang in there. I know it has been super rough.

I am going to brag...sorry. No I had not lost any weight. I have not improved much on my habits...but I got to live a dream. I sing and since I started the one honor I have had always wanted was to sing the national anthem at a sporting event.....my husbands work sponsons our local hockey team and they needed someone to sing. I had to audition and I got it! I was so excited. I am horrible to myself...so I know each one of my mistakes. I do always keep in mind that it's a performance, you only have one shot and it is what it is. I had strangers tell me it was beautiful....and strangers rarely tell you that so that's my reference to a job well done. I finally took a picture of myself....I had not done that in years because I hate my size. Yes I had all the spanks in the world to suck it all in....but I saw how happy it made me to sing I felt like miss America. So I posted my picture and singing on Facebook. It has been a long time since I had felt positive about myself.

Thanks for the brag. The dress I wore would look great if my body went down a dress size and it's great for winter. I hope that will help me improve.

Nova, that custom is awesome! Anyone would be lucky to have him in their collection. I'm sorry about the pet woes. My mother's vet did something similar to her and tried to tell her to have an exploratory surgery for a couple thousand dollars on an old dog who was already blind, deaf, and on daily pain meds. My own little service dog just got all his shots updated and that stings all at once, but better than the trouble of getting there more than once a year. He's doing really well with his short leg, though.

CG, living a dream?! Congratulations! I'm sure you looked great. We're always harder on ourselves.

Pokeyonekenobie, I'm always amazed that anyone can get gifts out to everyone. The best I managed was 9 batches of cookies split between all my neighbors and the mail lady. I have ten aunts/uncles and 13 cousins. Plus my immediate family has so much more money than me that they only want/need gifts that are beyond my price range.

Personally, I was doing pretty well with meeting my goals. Then I got the news that I actually gained ten pounds! It's not that odd for my weight to fluctuate, but still a bummer. My daughter and I did boxes for operation Christmas child. She had a great time filling a box for someone else. I broke my budget a bit by finding some greatly desired dolls on sale. The upside of hurting the budget now is that I'm pretty much done shopping for her April birthday.  :P  Sometimes I just can't pass on the lowest prices before they're off shelves. Last night I started coughing, so today hasn't been productive. We still managed some artwork. I just couldn't get my walking in. I'm hoping I'll be up and running again on Monday. I always take Sunday as a free day for my daughter and I.

Oh, also, on a completely different subject, my dad's birthday is Tuesday. He gets to retire officially on December 31st. I'm so happy he won't have such a stressful and physically demanding job anymore. He's planning on getting another job, but he has plenty of offers. It'll be great to see him more. :)

Wish your dad happy birthday Tak. Sorry for the fluctuations. It gets us all sometime or another. I agree with having a rest day no matter the week. If you can not hold you healthy self it's best to hold your happy self.

Glad to have you back:)

Sigh.....fell off the wagon on junk food again. Sigh. Not better at working out. I am knitting. I have a dead line to have 3 projects finished before thanksgiving. I am close but a lot to go through. I hope all is going well.

CG I found that if I have easy access to junk food, I'll find an excuse to eat it. I do my best to just keep it out of the house. That way getting to eat cookies made from scratch is so much more satisfying. Everyone has a different way, though. My mom keeps a stash of chocolate in her nightstand and has just one a day. (My dad can't say no, so anything he can access will disappear). Hang in there and you'll find your method. :)

I'm still sick, but doing great with exercise and creative activities. I fell hard off the wagon with my budget...  credit card+clearance=bad me. We'll catch back up somehow. It'll just be a lean year. We've had so much worse. Meanwhile I'm getting my meds adjusted :/ overspending is a bad sign for me.

I hope all are doing well!

Get better soon Tak. Money is hard to monitor. I have troubles time again. I have been going a few days no extras...so getting back on track. Now I just need to do my other tasks.

I am further with my knitting projects. I am only a few days from my dead line....yikes:) just like retrogradenova I can do this:)

Lol! Don't bring me into it, I'm a disaster at knitting. I gotta sit down and get my swap pony finished. :)

I fell off the exercise wagon this week, I started getting dizzy for some reason. Not while walking, but like while just doing chores around the house. Sorry I've been mia a bit.

Careful on the dizzy. My dizzy spells are related to my heart, but what has helped is drinking warm water. Not freezing cold water as it can add shock to the body. Just sit and slowly drink water. Not a quick fix but it helps. Along with sitting get down and be calm.

Retrograde nova you swap can not come fast enough....I am dieing to see your custom:)

1 part of my scarf is being blocked/stretch. I just have to work the other side and that is about 1/4 done. Can't finish until the blocking is done.

I have a hat half finished but having a hard time getting motivated.

As much as I want to do this (will keep doing it) and everyone has been awesome, I have to leave the arena. I don't need the stress the mods are instigating. I'm feeling rather hated by them. I'll most likely be back eventually if they don't delete me. (I really don't know what the issue is) I just didn't want to disappear without explanation. I hope you all succeed in your goals. I know you can if you try.
A beintot.
