You were outbid, it was gone after you came back when you took some time to think about it, timing wasn't right / stars not aligned in your favor, you simply passed it up for whatever reason and were sad about it later, didn't see the sale post quickly enough.

Who was it? And who did you buy to console yourself (lol) because I know you totally went on a sorry for yourself spree after. We've all done it!

MO Sweet Scoops 

When I posted my first wanted ad for ponies I was a much different collector. I was picky rather than wanting to "catch em all". Because of this, I passed up an opportunity to get MO Sweet Scoops as well as some other nice ponies for a good price. So much regret

I saw her on a sales post here for about $300(?), next day she was gone.

It wasn't my time to get her obviously

But oh well...money for other ponies and things!!!

Prototype bbe sunlight.
She was on ebay years ago and i thought i bid high enough but at the last second i was outbid. I felt awful and regretted not bidding higher for years. I let her owner know if she ever intended to sell to please let me know. As luck would have it, right before my wedding i was contacted by her owner who asked if i wanted to buy her. I couldnt believe it. The story has a happy ending so i enourage everyone to not loose faith and that some times the best things are worth waiting for.

On eBay, I once won a prototype G4 pink unicorn with pink hair, blue eyes, and no cutie mark. I won her for a few dollars but she NEVER arrived in my mailbox! Seller refunded me and said she got a mesdage that my package was lost.  She has been a grail of mine for a while now.... 

Also the gradiant G4 Princess Cadance years ago. I went to place an order on Taobao and SOLD OUT!

I missed out on that auction with the prototype SS ponies in it years ago (Posey and one more.) I had completely forgotten to bid! Gah!

I've managed to get a hold of most of the ones that got away on me. But about a month ago I won a Garden Play Case for like $20 including shipping. Seller never shipped it and my refund is currently pending. So that one is still kinda sad :/

MIB fashion style applejack for 10 dollars. My grandpa offered to buy it for me, but at the time I didn't collect fashion style size. 
I eventually got one lose, but I really wish I was able to get the MIB one...

Ringlet, more times than I'd care to mention! Last time that happened, I went ahead and got Skydancer, seeing as both she and Ringlet are yellow pegasi with rainbow hair, so it's close enough! I had been umming and ahhing over whether or not to get Skydancer for a while though; my missed-pony situation kind of made the decision for me and I really love her, so it worked out alright in the end!
