This happens all the time.  One time I walked up to the yard sale and she just sold ALL of the ponies, but the Baby Bonnet School of Dance was left behind.  I cannot count the times I have heard "I just sold them to someone else just 10 minutes ago"....it burns me...
The worst is that I know a lot of times they will just end up on eBay anyway.
