Yikes! So from what I have gathered Xacto knives are the enemy..I have yet to deal with truly bad neck glue (so far) but I don't think I'll be using a knife any time soon...

I don't know if this counts since I didn't do the damage myself but I put some ponies on the patio table to sun fade and a mag pie took a bite out of Moondancer!!!!!  :dropjaw: I ran out and chased it away but it took a chunk out of her horn. At least she's common.  >_<
Did it attack it? That's so random! It's not even appetizing looking! xD

I accidentally magic erased off some blush on cheeks. :P But I sort of decided the pony looked better without the blush?? LOL!!!

They have been all over my yard stealing from my vegetable garden. They hang out and keep the other birds away. I didn't quite see what it did but saw it on the table with the ponies, checking them out, it was super weird and random. I didn't realize at first that it took a chunk out, I thought it was trying to pick the pony up or something. Then while bringing them inside I realized the tip of her horn was gone and there's another little slice further down from it's beak biting it.

Neck plugs scare me. I have an Italian Sparkler who is basically bald so she needs rehairing, and her neck is so well glued....I am putting off doing anything with her because I feel so nervous about it!

I once ended up accidentally cutting into Highflier's neck when I was removing her head so she could have new wings fitted. I made her a necklace to cover the damage so she looks cute again now.

And don't even get me started on poor Magic Message Windy's symbols, which are now no more....or the metallic paint on Princess Dawn's symbol, also now no more. It's a good thing I specifically collect baity ponies.

I once received a lot of Italian ponies and they were a bit grimy. I was doing my usual routine of using nail varnish remover to get rid of stubborn marks before I gave them a proper clean. Stupid me decided to use paper towel with a design on it, so when I was wiping down poor Windy the colour leached out of the design on the paper towel and stained her! Thankfully I noticed straight away and stopped, but she ended up with a yellow blob of dye in her plastic that I couldn't remove. >_<

Plain paper towel is the way from now on!

I have had a few ripped neck plugs, that is really annoying to deal with, semi tears are ok, full tears are a nightmare.

I used hot water on a Magic Message pony.  Poor girl had the grimiest body but perfect symbols - which were no longer perfect once I used hot water on them.

I also sliced through the neck plug of a Baby Crumpet.

No, hot water.  I used glue to get their wings to stay in and they still work fine, just look funny.  http://www.mlppreservationproject.com/mycollection4.html#FlutterPonies
