My first pony, G1 Glory.  She takes me back in time. :)

I would go with baby surprise. However, I would be a wise pony I would go with Alternate birthflower morning glory if I sold her then I could buy back some other ponies. :/

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

Ooh, tough decision! On one hand I'm inclined to say Moondancer because she's the mintiest pony in my herd (and I had a ludicrous amount of trouble finding her!) but from a sentimental perspective, Posey has always been my favourite and the first pony I got when I started collecting again (although she would be completely effortless to replace). There's also the matter of my G3s, which I've had since they were new, but I'm not quite as attached to those as my G1s.
I'd probably end up rescuing Moondancer, seeing as she'd be most difficult to replace (in terms of condition anyway.) Conundrum sorted! XD

Rosey Posey. Never again will $400 be dropped on a pony.

(It was hard choosing between her or Mimic  >_< )

Um....

I'm a sentimental girl, so I'd have to go with Raincurl.  She's my only childhood pony.  :)

I'm not trying to put a damper on this thread but my house actually DID catch on fire in May of this year and burn down.  My curio cabinet full of ponies in the bedroom was the last thing on my mind as we ran out.  Thankfully everyone is fine including the pets but I chuckled when I saw this thread because I can say that honestly in the moment NONE of the ponies will matter!!!  But after the fire was out they mattered a ton and I was super sad to have lost a portion of my collection.

But to play along, the pony I would rescue is my childhood Applejack.  She was in the curio cabinet in my bedroom.  Thankfully the cabinet survived the fire and it was amazing to be able to go back in the house afterwards and empty the cabinet.  She is hanging out on the desk in our rental house with me right now.  I can't wait until our house is rebuilt and I can move the ponies back into their room again!!!

Cricket!!  I'm so sorry you lost your house, that sounds terrible!  But I am glad your ponies survived!

I was actually thinking about this yesterday (house burning down) cos I drove past a huge plume of smoke on the way home from work that was a house fire in the next suburb.

But as for ponies... wow.  Totally impossible choice!  I'd either grab Baby Sugarcake (I spent so much money on her dangit!) or one of the Petite playsets I have set up in my dresser.  I'm going through a massive petite stage at the moment!

If they were literally the last ponies on earth though, I'd grab tropical Hula Hula as she was my first ever pony when I was 3

Possibly mimic or my two customs.... I have a daughter and dog to save first, so the ponies might not make it.

My gut reaction was NC Sundance, but actually thinking about it it would be a tough choice between her and Italian Peachy. Peachy is my favorite to pull out and hold, photograph, brush the hair of, etc.

In reality, assuming there's time/its not a huge fire, I'd rip through the saran wrap display and grab everyone there. It would only take a few moments to shovel them into a bag. My favorites are much harder to reach... hm, I should work on that.

Cricket, I'm so sorry that this happened. What a terrible experience.
I don't want to think about stuff like that.

yea, like cricket said... I'm sure I won't think of ponies atm, but if I did think about "things and stuff" what I grabbed wouldn't be a pony, it would be Chatters, my mouse ("he's not a bear!") stuffed animal.

If pony, then Dancing Butterflies.

A custom someone made me years ago with my Dobe Byron on it. Love it. Can't even recall who made it now that it's been so long :(

My childhood pony Sugar Apple! Sentimental value is my main reason of course <3 If not a childhood pony, it would be my Mimic which a friend gave to me recently, she holds a very special place in my heart <3
