Arena/Ebay Buys and Yard Sale Finds!

WOW!!! i think the boys are hard to and with hat and new smell ,That"s so  Awesome!!!

The boys are actually the first photo in the group that don't have new pony smell. Only the ponies in the first 4 photos do. Chief and 4-Speed both have pretty heavy cancer I think (unless 4-Speed gets regrind? He has some areas I'm not really sure what's up), and are covered in who knows what sticky dirt; I'm pretty sure it's a mix of plasticizer and the candy that was in some of the doll's hair in the same crate. Their previous owner also apparently loved pony spa day. I've been removing a lot of peach and blue nail polish. That second group of ponies is a pretty big big mess. I've started working on about 10 or 12 of them so far, and most of the ponies under the mess are pretty nice.

Keyword, almost. I have a hard time dragging myself out of bed for garage sales. But this one they had listed MLP in their Craigslist ad, and when I talked to the person selling them she told me she had a bunch of G1s who had been kept in wonderful shape. So I went expecting a couple, then I see how many she had, and the person she was teaming up with for the sale was like "Oh I actually have a bunch of those too". It was crazy.

aah, leads are a good thing!  Next year when I start going to garage sales for girls' clothing, maybe luck will be on my side and I will stumble across some vintage toys *fingers crossed*

that is a lot of great finds! Congrats And yes, the new pony smell! I love it - I still have several of my G1s with that smell - sometimes I just stick the pony under my nose and breath in, and then I'm right back in my childhood years - super excited about my new pony

Wow! I never have any luck at garage sales, but you did so well! I would never dream to find big brothers with their hats like that! And that Creamsicle...so jealous! So many great finds there, congrats!
