How do you protect yourself from the Sun? (plus sketches)

honestly i avoid going outside, if i do have to go outside i'll stay in the shade with hats....

i'll sit in my back garden in the shade (yay laptops amirite?) because the entire house is always an oven.

i don't use sunscreen because i hate how it feels. i don't get actual sunburn that easily because i don't spend too much time outside, but i am quite sensitive to heat, so sometimes if i'm out for a long time i'll have a lot of hats and loose clothing.

Well, down here its a different kettle of fish.
Because we have a ozone hole, we have to be very careful indeed. It's a constant sunblock, hat and cover up.
New Zealand has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world.

We only go out for about an hour at a time. Too sensitive to sunscreen, hats are nice sometimes, or just stay inside. We don't get that much sun and it's usually not very hot. I and my daughter tan nicely which is nature's sunscreen. My daughter got her first freckles last week. Irish blood won through!

Coconut oil. A natural product and works decently well as a sunscreen. Makes you smell tropical, too.

Due to allergies / skin sensitives I can't use most sunscreens. Playing the "find a sunscreen" game got really old, especially when one I'd find that worked, without having a reaction to it, would suddenly vanish from stores around me. Started taking cod liver oil and Vitamin D a few years ago, which is supposed to help too, and took to using coconut oil. Haven't had a sunburn again since switching to coconut oil and taking cod liver oil plus Vitamin D daily. I do still limit how much time spent outdoors and try to avoid being out in the hottest part of the day.

I usually burn a touch and then am fine within a day or so. I'm not outside all the time and do not sunbathe...

Hey guys, you should check out this brand called Blue Lizard sunscreen, that stuff is amazing! I got it at BuyBuyBaby for whe we drove to the beach last week and I didnt even burn the slightest bit! I was splashing my feet in the water and even that area didnt get sunburned! It was HOT last week in Corpus Christi too omg....
