Beady Posey custom commission

I've been busy with lots of things recently, none of them pony related, but I remembered the other day I hadn't posted photos of my most recent beady pony.

Beady Posey was commissioned by a member here, who has a love of all things Posey 

She took almost four months to complete, due to my being A) pregnant, B) ill and C) busy with the new baby who arrived three weeks early! Without that, I might have got Posey completed before February, but things happen, do they not?

I attempted to match colours as close as possible to Posey's original colours - the only difference is I didn't use fading pink hair, so hopefully Posey will stay pink for longer this time round!

The green beads used on her flower stems were ones I had specially sourced (for another custom) from a specialist bead shop in London, and as they are smaller than seed beads, they were perfect for the tiny stem size. I lost them  I couldn't find them and was just getting to the point in the design where I needed them when they turned up *phew* Lucky for me, else I would have had to go to London - with a baby in a pram - to get another bag!

Oh wow she is lovely! I've always wanted to do some beading on like an ornament or something, but I lack the patience. That's awesome you can do all of that, and die looks lovely.
