For some reason the second set of TAF ponies always came on my path. I had Munchy, Nightglider, Bonnie Bonnets and I even remember having Yum Yum at some point. I didn't get any of them new, they all just came on my path at fleamarkets. And I found two Merriweathers within a year (okay, as an adult, but still).

All while I had no idea that the first TAF set even existed. I thought they were supposed to be the more common set? Not here, I guess.

I had no duplicates as a child, nor did I have a complete set. I had 10 ponies in my herd.

Ask me now and it's a whole different story...

I had a complete year 1-3 collection, all purchased by parents/grandparents/ friends (for bday parties) right off the shelves (aside from any mail order stuff).

I have most of the collector's pose ponies, I'm only missing 3 { cotton candy, minty and lemondrop }. I don't really buy ponies to complete sets, though, so the only other one I have is two Merry go round ponies. Complete accident, too, as I really dislike them!

EDIT: oops, misread the title. Technically, though, I still am a child, so I think my answer can stay the same

We had 5 of the 6 from the first set of Rainbow ponies. We were just missing Windy (although I don't think we really realised there were "sets", we certainly didn't know we were missing one, or that it was Windy lol). We also had 3 of the four Teeny Weeny babies (is that what they're called?!), we were just missing the white one. We had about 30, so the rest were just scattered amongst other sets.

I can't remember having multiple ponies from any set. I had an Easter pony, a sparkle pony, a crystal design, a target exclusive baby, and a bunch of other releases (Applejack, Razzaroo, etc).

I don't really remember specifically what I had as a kid, although I know I had at least two So Softs (Lofty and Cupcake).  I think I had at least a few each of the Sparkle, TAF and Twinkle Eyes sets too.

Now I have all the princesses and all the sparkles (non-MO).   Would like to complete the TAFs and Twinkle-Eyes some day.

Flutter ponies!  I just realized I forgot about them!  And they were actually the ponies I had the most of.

Mine were the "classic ponies" Butterscotch, Peachy, Blossom, Cotton Candy, Firefly, Glory, Seashell, Bubbles, Bow Tie and Apple Jack.

After that, I had one each from each of the other sets.   Well, the sets I knew about anyway.

As a kid, I only had two or three.  SS Wind Whistler and Raincurl but my sister owned Glory.

I also found Sundance with some of my childhood things so, though I don't recall owning her, apparently I did?  I guess I'll claim classic ponies, then.
