I'd definitely recommend leaving store exclusives in box, even if they're just common pony variants - I deboxed my Wysteria and Pinkie Pie from that target set and now I can't find them MIB anywhere...

What ponies are considered store exclusives.. other than the TRU ponies which I don't have (due to refusing buying doubles of the main 6 and there is no TRU in the area) except for the few I bought loose from someone else
Put them in a bin, store them, and forget about them for 10 years.
From target there's the Power Ponies, Pinkie Pie's Boutique, Wild Rainbow and Canterlot lines (mainly common variants, but some completely exclusive characters like Maneiac and Wysteria), from Walmart there's Through the Mirror (mainly princess variants), and from toys r us there's a bunch more that I've forgotten. I'm probably missing a bunch, sorry.
