Not sure yet the impact on priority rates for packages, but first class must surely go down too!

I had heard about this awhile ago, and sadly, it only applies to letters and postcards.  Priority and First Class package rates will be staying the same.

Ah. Well, okay. Still it's hard to believe the pennies will add up to billions lost for usps...

I can easily believe it will cost them billions.  A penny here and a penny there will add up.  I do question the motivation of Congress in foisting this on the PO, because it's a move that will hurt the USPS while not really helping normal citizens . . .
