I would take back any of the Summer Wing ponies; I only discovered those a couple of years ago and was totally amazed by how cute they are. Heck, my childhood self would've been completely floored by the sheer joy and wonderment!

Because this is totally hypothetical and my dream scenario: I would have given a mint Sweet Scoops w/Charm and left a note that said 'Don't touch her, don't lose her, don't breath on her. Trust me.....'

I think I'd give myself one of the Mountain Boy ponies.  Ice Crystal is the obvious one, but I also really like Sunburst, who's a bit easier to get hold of!  Either way, my younger self would have loved another boy pony for the herd

oooh... tough one. I think younger me would have loved the so softs! If I was choosing a pony based on my childhood loves, I'd totally pick So Soft Magic Star.

If I were picking someone I wished I could have had as a child so I didn't have to buy her, it would be Aussie/Scandinavian Cupcake or Truly. Want them so badly! I tracked down a Gusty, but want those two too!

I'd totally give my childhood self Party Time.  But why her? Why a pony with notorious regrind issues? Because she's right up childhood me's alley! I LOVED the lone Twinkle Eye I had as a kid, Masquerade. It wasn't just the gem eyes, though, I also loved her super bright highlighter colors. As a kid I wished I had other super-bright ponies so she could have a family. As for the "spots", I would have paid it no mind to them, if I even bothered to notice something like that as a child.

I'd give myself an Up Up & Away with faded white hair.  When I was a kid the commercial for her made her look like she had a crazy dark body with pale hair and I thought she looked like a palomino and I was desperate to have her.  Imagine my disappointment when I got her and her hair was pink.  :/

Now imagine my disappointment as an adult collector when all the ones I've had over the years have been faded.

I'd probably leave a few G2's on my porch, Copper Glow, Prince Firefly, Puff, Etc. Even though I was opposed to MLP as a small child, I'm pretty sure if one just mysteriously appeared on my porch I would treasure mysterious magical pony like a national secret and take it to my grave
