When did you start collecting nirvanas and who was your very first grail? Did you ever get your first grail? How long did it take you? Post pictures!!!

The first non US pony I really wanted took me a long time to get, Greek white Skydancer.  She was my grail for about 4 years(every time one was for sale, I couldn't afford her), and I finally got her last year.

My first Macau nirvana was peachy. Peachy never liked, but I buy that saved shipping charges. I sold a few weeks ago, I always remember with love.

When I started collecting nirvanas, my most wanted grail was Spanish TAF Milkyway. And this year I finally got mine! ^^ After so many years, I'm very very happy with it. Only one more TAF pony to complete the set.

My very very first nirvana was my beloved Tickle. I was looking to find again my tickle as my childhood one was lost. And the very first Tickle I have found was a NC one 

It took me more than a week because at that time I did not know where to find ponies  and then on a french website I have found one. I received it very quickly within 2 days    At that time I did not know what was a nirvana or not 

And , thanks to my search for Tickle, I discovered the pony world!!! And I felt in love with the frenchies and the greeks

My first grail was brazil gusty. I went through a phase in which gusty was my all time favourite, and I needed a foreign one to complete my collection. It took several months, and eventually an affordable one popped up for sale on eBay - I couldn't do transactions through the pony forums back then. I won her, and she arrived quite quickly, I was ecstatic! I haven't purchased many more nirvanas {if any?} because a lot of them are quite expensive, or at least, the ones I like. I'd love to have a greek pony some day, since I am half greek.

I'd say green-haired Peruvian Lickety Split, who I lost an auction for by about ¢45 once and haven't seen go for less than $80-90 since :') I'll have her (and her sister, orange-haired Peruvian Tootsie) someday!

My first nirvana was most likely Italy Peachy I quickly progressed to collecting Italians

My first grail would undoubtedly be and still is yellow Venezuelan yellow Starshine!

I started collecting nirvanas around the year 2000 and around that time i first laid my eyes on african medley. I was just mesmerized by her. There are only two that i know of. Kasin has one. The other was found in New Zealand of all places by kiwimlp in a pony lot. She was sold to kcat and then again to snowflake. Each time she came up for sale I missed her. I practically grew up with her being my first grail. It wasn't until last year I finally got a chance to buy the exact medley i had fallen in love with all those years ago.

It only took me 15 years to get her lol. And i am proud to say she has found her forever home. And yes she is the same one thats in the gallery. Its very nostalgic to finally own her and I am just in love with her now as i was 15 years ago.

Congrats hun what a gorgeous pony! I had no idea you own her now! My first real grail was any south african, I didn't even mind which one, just one! I then back in 2011 I had the chance of getting an SA Moondancer, but she was not in that nice shape anymore, I sold her again and since then she has changed her owner again. I had other smaller grails before such as Baby Minty, but that south african is the first very big grail I remember! I never forgot the joy I felt when I unpacked the box she was in! I felt this joy only again when I unpacked my Takara Fuwa Fuwa!

Nightlight was the one I just had to have. She started it all and I ended up with so many nirvanas. I did end up selling them all and some of my Nightlights(yeah I had more than one), but I've kept two especially the first one I got that I bought myself as a birthday gift.

Love everyone's stories and grails!!

I have had many grail wants  still do! But I think my first was Italy Bluemoon!!! I searched and searched for him! Started in 2005 and achieved getting him years later, then I had to sell him at one point to a collectors friend, She still has him.

 Then I got another one about a year ago or two, sold him again but then I bought him back again and now he is home with me forever hopefully!!

1rst one sold, don't have him.
