I have regular FF and Concave. Here we didn't have them on MO, but it's pretty sure there were CF ones on card here which may have been imports from the US line or may have been MO...I never have been sure how to tell the difference in the CF/MO situation.

I have a couple of italian ones, too. Years ago, before the Nirvana term happened and before all of the knowledge about other variations, variant knowledge was in the region of Italian, Indian, French and NC ponies, and that was about it. I'd made a big thing about Italian ponies, because I liked their goofy expressions, and so I was always looking for stuff that might come under that heading. But at the time we didn't know exactly how much there was. For example, people still thought, sometimes, that Parasol with y3 hair was a reroot...and then one would come up MOC, and people would be like...ok, she's legit. It meant taking chances on people's descriptions and hoping that you were getting a pony and not a fakie, because you didn't want to miss out on anything, and there were very few continental European collectors online then, let alone people with the knowledge there that exists now about what was available in different places.

So yeah, my fluke pride and joy from that time period in my collecting is this one, who someone traded to me because they thought it was a fakie and didn't want it. I saw no pictures before this trade, they just told me they had a fakie that looked a lot like the real MLP, Minty, she had Italy on her hoof but it was yellow and red they didn't want it, and I had a regular Minty and would I trade it?

So I didn't know what I was getting, but I said, ok. And this is what I got in the post...

When I saw her, I couldn't think she was a 'fake' version of Minty, she had the Italy etc on her foot but nobody had ever seen or heard of one like her at all. Some not so nice people started saying she was a custom or a fake or basically she didn't count as an Italian pony because we had no record of what she was or where she came from.

Now, of course, we know, but I always believed in her I think the original idea of her being a 'fake' comes from the weird way some of these colourful variations were packaged and sold in Italy, judging by some of the things I've read. The person who traded her to me was from Italy originally, I think, but it's too long ago for me to remember.

Have flat foot and Mexican. I really like them both. My FF Minty had no tail when I got her, she's currently sporting a green one because a) she's a rebel and b) I haven't yet been able to get the right kind of white (it keeps being sold out on Dollyhair). Green hair actually looks really good on her, if ever I find a bald/nearly bald Minty I may have to rehair her in green.

I have her, the Macau variant. She was my very first pony as I child, and as such is still very special to me!

I really, really love minty. When I first got into collecting, she was on my wishlist...and she still is! For ages I wasn't able to sign up on forums, and when I could, I still couldn't trade. I don't see her come up at all really, which is a shame, since I'd love to fulfill my starting collectors wishlist. I do have her on a tshirt, though!
