I wouldn't be able to eat Mimic!! I'd keep her forever and ever in a glass display case until she shriveled up into dust. Then I'd collect the dust and store it in a tiny lil pony urn.. then I'd pay homage to said urn day and night while the bells chimed on the hour to honor her memory... and then...

 


... I forgot where I was going with that but it's definitely a stellar cake! That's really cool you can create art like that you can eat... except that I'd never be able to eat Mimic... in fact, I'd save her forever and ever... -echoes repeatedly throughout time-

*gasp* It's beautiful! When I designed the cake in my avatar I did play around with the idea of it being a castle, or even midnight castle and having Tirek (haha too ambitious). I love the Mimic!!

Also Firefly was never eaten. She's still chilling in the freezer.

Thanks everyone! I was aiming to do a G2 themed cake, as a fellow collector introduced me to a figure making book featuring a pony house. The book arrived later than expected so I decided that the dream castle would be better, and mimic with her shoes was fitting as my aunt enjoys blingy fashions lol
I am very happy with the result as I have now learned how to shape figures from 1 piece of marzipan instead of multiple, it makes assembling peices without breaking waay easier!
Don't know when the next big order will be, but I hope to make some lovely figure cakes soon again!
