Everyone has lovely photos!  :)

My sales photos are taken in an inherited light box, but when I take pony photos for fun, I like to get more creative:

My droid is a terrible camera and the angle of the sun was messing with its autofocus so the pics are less clear than I like but here is my first attempt at posing ponies with some composition, in this case some blue orchids and the pavers of my patio...and a little elephant too.  I hope everypony enjoys my modest contribution!

Feel free to critique what you think worked or didn't work....be honest now!  I want to improve...

For the record, I really love applejackbunny's applejack self-contemplation picture!  It really works for me.  (applejack looking at herself in the mirror pose)

I love the pic of Forsythia. She's a beautiful pony and goes wonderfully with those flowers!

I took my new travel pony down to the park to figure out her best angle and had a play with some filters on my phone. One of my favourite shots:

Taken with my samsung galaxy note 3, which has a phenomenal camera for a phone, and even for this model. My hubby bought this one second hand quite cheaply, it had been used as a work tablet at his work and was about 6 months old when I got it, because my s5 was acting up. I bought hubby the same phone new, and his camera is not as good, even on identical settings. Goes to show you, it really does vary, even in the same model camera. This outshoots my newer, much higher-pixel little canon 'point-n-shoot' every day of the week,  (lets in too much light, lots of grainy-ness, photos come out super-harsh) and is about on par with my older samsung one, with a few less pixels than the canon on similar settings. I do have a DSLR, but I wasn't about to lug that down to the park.. getting back up that hill is tough enough on foot without camera and lenses, I tend to use that for travel photos and events, rather than happy snaps anyway, the files are huge!

That's a great shot, Stormness_1!

Very good clarity (camera) and choice of setting (you).  I really like the way the earth colors contrast with Rarity, and the patchy bright light in the background and the green way behind that really gives a nice perspective.
