G1 hair styles and tips
« on: February 25, 2016, 02:15:27 PM »
Hi guys, I've been away from the pony community for a while and was wondering if anyone had tips for dealing with G1 hair? I have a few that have really dry/frizzy hair and the last I remembered was a electric straightener with LOTS of conditioner would help.

Have any advances been made on this topic? I'd like to use the best method that gets the best results without having to get a lot of things especially for it.

Also is there a website or something that shows ponies MIB/MIP or with original hair styles? I like to get as authentic as possible but I'm not 100% sure on which ponies had curly or straight hair.

Any help much appreciated!

Honestly, I don't think much has changed. the best way to deal with frizz is still a butt load of patience with your straightener and conditioner (in very small segments at a time of course)

I know some swear by hot water dips or fabric softener but those techniques never worked well for me.

I'd also like to know if there is a mint in package inventory! A website that shows all the ponies mint in packaging!!!

I don't think they have all of them, but http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Main_Page has pictures of a lot of them.

It's really hard to tell even with moc pics (and trust me I have tons of those) what their original hair style looked like. :D But if it's curly or not I can give you my short list. They seemed to follow the rule of three per set after year 3 (there were no curly haired ponies before year 3)

You are wonderful! That's exactly what I was looking for! The rest were either "straight" (hair wrapped around mane), ringlets or other (like crimped)? At least that's what I'm assuming, most of the ones I have are either curly or straight so I shouldn't have a problem.
