What do you think? Lightning's brush (fingers crossed)?

So I bought a lot in Germany that included a yellow frog brush.  I assumed it belonged to Salty from the picture.  But now that I have the brush in my possession, I am starting to think (more like hoping) it may actually belong to Lightning.  If you look at the bristles, it is there where the difference in colors is most noticeable.

So what do you think, Salty's? Lightning's?

It will eventually go on my trade list.  List does not exist at this time because I am procrastinator when feeling overwhelmed.

I think...and I'm basing this on past enquiries of my own - but I think it's a variation on Tug/Salty's brush. There are a few shades. I think I have most of them - but the colour of Lightning's brush is really pale. I think it matches whichever adult sea pony also has very pale yellow brush and comb...

In any case, MB ponies weren't sold in Germany, to my knowledge, but Big Brothers definitely were, and with some minor variations (pat pending etc). So the chances are it's his.

Sure someone with expertise will confirm or deny tho.

@Taffeta Thank you for your input.  I am going to post a few more pictures with various yellow items which will probably just confirm your thoughts.  Meanwhile, my joy of maybe having Lightning's brush is fading like a candle in the wind

I found a picture ashlyne had posted many years ago, and there is much more of a contrast between her two brushes.  I would post it, but not sure what the policy is of using other member's photos

I admit, I've used that photo of Ashlyne's before for the same errand I've never seen a Lightning brush that I can authenticate as being his here in the UK, not when I was a child and not as an adult. But at least, on the positive, his his easier to identify than some. So we keep looking...

No idea how to identify Tornado's comb either, to be honest, bearing in mind how close it is in shade to Quarterback's (I think?)

I do sometimes wonder if Hasbro just cross-contaminated some of the accessories between the two sets, as we had MB ponies when the US etc had Big Brothers, and we had the 'Adventure Boy' release of those the year after...

Sorry, I don't think it's Lightning's brush

I've noticed the different shades too, but below is a photo of the two brushes you have with Lightning's brush on the left.  It's a WAY lighter shade difference.
