guaging interest for a 80's toys custom swap.
« on: February 11, 2016, 03:20:15 PM »
hi all, i thought it would be fun to plan a custom swap for late spring. maybe april or may, and had an idea i think is fun.

toys of the 1980's
so the idea is to list a few of your favorite toys from the 80's whether that be strawberry shortcake, heman, turtles etc anything goes except ponies. since the base of the custom will be a pony, seems anti-climatic to have a pony be the theme.

what do you yall think?
there are so many awesome toys and comics from the 80's i think it has good potential.

don't know if this theme has been done before, but i haven't seen it for a while. so i thought it was worth asking.

right?! after i posted this i keep thinking of other possible customs.
transformers, pound puppies, care bears, poochi, so  many more... i really hope this gets enough response! i wonder if star wars could be included as there was alot of toys that came out in the 80's? i mean a millennium falcon pony does sound pretty sweet, but i wonder if it broadens it too much?

the timing is pretty open at this point. i was thinking april/may because i got lots of stuff going on in early april, so if you have a recommendation, that's cool.
that way we can have more people involved.
