OH MY GOD SO PRETTY. I only have regular releases of AJ. One time I almost bought an Italian but didn't because she wasn't extremely different from the original. I kinda regret it, though -- I don't have any Italians!

Applejack is one of my all-time favourites. I have: regular G1, collector's pose, G1 baby, G3, 2 G4 brushables, an Equestria Girl, a G4 plush, and some little blind bag ones. If only they'd made a G2 Applejack, my happiness would be complete.

I love Apple Jack! I don't have that one that is pictured above. But I do have the RR and the Italy one in the G1 form. And of course I also have the G3 and G4 of her to! :)

Wow. Hrm. Let me think about this one, what AJs do I have...

Original shy pose AJ (from a UK car boot sale, so UK bought)
Groom & Style AJ with her backcard (CP AJ)
Shy pose curly haired AJ with card, sticker, brush, ribbon with US card...
Baby Applejack with all accessories, sticker and UK box
Italian AJ in both poses, CP and shy
G3 AJ is technically my sister's, she bought her in Australia when out there with her percussion group as a school girl.
G4 AJ - I have the original (or maybe 2nd wave?) one, she came from Porvoo, Finland, when I was on holiday there, with Rarity and Lily Blossom. I have pics of her all over Helsinki, including at the harbour, in the cave church and on the tour bus. And in the minibar XD.

Do multiple generations etc constitute an army?

I have a lot of the books Einhorn baby has as well. She was very popular in the 1980s...

I have the collector's pose version, luckily that's the version I like most. :D Though I might have an Italian shy pose version lying around somewhere too, I'm not sure...

My current AJ army. Several blindbags, at least one brushable of each wave she was released in. Still looking for a rainbow power FS AJ. ~15 official and custom plushies (My favorite's a tie between 4de's AJ and that baby AJ).
Also have a G1 AJ signed by Bonnie Zacherle and Liz Knight
Definitely my favorite pony.

Wouldn't mind adding a G3 AJ to my collection sometime. Love her color scheme.

Here are my three:  G1 regular version, G1 curly hair version, and G4 tinseled version.

I got the regular one from eBay a few years ago.  The curly version was part of a large lot I scored awhile back and still has some of her original curl.  (It reminds me of a 1960s waterfall hairstyle.)  The G4 was a Goodwill find a year or two ago.  As you can see, I never had her as part of my childhood herd, but I'm happy to have her now.  :)

I have two brushables and an AJ-zilla. Thanks to this thread, there is a G1 gal on her way to me right now. I have always wanted her, and just found one on eBay for a reasonable price. I'd love to add the CP version, Baby AJ, and the G3 version someday.
