I loved Cupcake dolls too. I think I still have all of mine. :) I even had the cake that turned into a table play set.

My siblings and I had these toys called Snubblegrass. It was an electronic egg that popped open after a certain "incubation" time to reveal a cute little chicken/alien/gonzo creature. It came with a book describing the Snubblegrass back story of their planet and other whimsical details.

The toys were gifts from our teenage babysitter who's family owned a pharmacy and must have been from the toy section, but I can't find any trace of the toy! I'm pretty sure I'm spelling it correctly. It was such a fun toy ^^

You could see their appeal to preteens."

I knew something was weird about that book...
