Anyone else having problems with ebay checkout?

I've been trying to pay for something on ebay the past 2 days. It says something went wrong and to try again, but I keep getting the messages. I can't even get to my log in.

That has happened to me before but I forget why. I think it was just me too... I think I just kept trying and eventually it went.

It says error code 70245. I don't see anything about in ebay discussion. Have contacted sellers to let them know what's going on.

I have had the same issue too and had to contact the seller to give them a heads up.  Was eventually able to pay.

I haven't recently had any issues but last year a buyer had the same problem trying to checkout when she bought 2 dolls from me. We both had to contact ebay in the end. Sometimes it fixes itself but it didn't in my case - someone from ebay had to sort it out their side.  If its still not working I'd give ebay a call

I've had 2 recent buyers message me due to check out problems. At least one was unable to check out on the eBay mobile app, but succeeded by logging in on the computer. Ebay has had an unusual amount of glitches in the last 6 months or more. Maybe giving them a call is the best option?

Edit: nevermind. Didn't need to call as someone mentioned on the discussion forum about logging onto ebay Cananda to pay. Finally got my items paid for! Thanks for advice!

Can you pay them directly from PayPal, perhaps?

LadyMoondancer, I thought about asking them for their paypal address directly, but then thought they may not have ebay's protection since Paypal and ebay are no longer together and it might make the sellers feel uncomfortable.
